The Emperor - The Iris

Ugly and beautiful, the iris is a sublime and proud mix of contradictions, open and yet closed, casual and yet structured, untidy and organized, delicate and robust, neither one thing or another and yet everything at the same time.

A floribund potpourri, that is the result of some drunken Deity’s moment of indulgent inspiration, a floral chimera, a unique monster that is born of good intentions and the ingredients of the best of other more mundane species.

Like the Okapi and the Narwal it represents one of mother natures confused moments which has resulted in something special, something unique majestic and almost mythical.

The Mistress - The Orchid

The Orchid is the mistress of all flowers. Mysterious and opulent. Fascinating and distinct. She haunts every corner of this planet, from the depths of the jungle where no man has set foot, to a gracious corner of the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong.

Encounters leave you feeling privileged and the memory rare.

In isolation this mistress reigns, exiled, proud and perfect, a sensual caress in the dark of the night.
